Student Practicum Placements
We take on Qualifying Psychotherapists in order to support them in completing their practicum hours on a rolling basis but there’s a few things you should know before you apply:
At Rising Phoenix Therapy and Wellness, our goal is to help clients thrive. As a student counsellor, your role will be to provide counselling services to individuals and couples with mild to moderate general mental health struggles both virtually and in person at our Kingston, Ontario office. Within this role, practicum students will be provided with direct and indirect hours that are required to fulfill practicum requirements.
Role Description:
Are a Master’s Level student who has completed all coursework components of their program.
Are self-motivated, independent, responsible and has impeccable time-management skills.
Are comfortable with working with an external supervisor for the successful practicum.
THIS IS THE RIGHT FIT IF YOU
Are located near Kingston, ON with flexible availability to dedicate 15 hours/week to the practice.
Are driven and has particular interest in entering a private practice with other therapists.
Have the necessary requirements to provide virtual counselling services like internet and an office area.
